Canon CCD Sensors Service Notice

Since October 2005, Canon has provided a free repair service addressing the problem with the faulty CCD image sensors used in Canon digital cameras.

Canon has now announced that the service period for these products has now ended, and they will no longer be providing free repairs for affected products after March 31, 2010.
